According to Contact Music, the 4 tracks that were leaked this past weekend were supposed to be singles from Leona’s brand new album due out for release this fall. Check out this article accompanying the story:
British singer LEONA LEWIS has been targeted by hackers who have posted unfinished tracks from her new album on the web.
The star shot to fame after winning U.K. talent show The X Factor in 2006 and has spent the past few months recording her second album in Los Angeles.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker reportedly discovered the leak when her online fans began praising her new material.
A source tells British tabloid News of the World, “We think one of her producer’s computers was hacked into. It’s a really serious breach.”
The stolen songs include possible future singles Brave and I Got You.

Leona will be working with One Republic lead vocalist and writer of Bleeding Love, Ryan Tedder once again on her new album. This should produce more great tracks for the album. I can’t wait!
Leona Lewis is once again working with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder on new songs that will be included on her second album.
Tedder co-wrote Leona’s international hit single ‘Bleeding Love’ (along with Jesse McCartney) and he’s already been recording in Los Angeles with the British singer.
“We did about two and a half songs, and we already have something that everybody’s extremely happy about,” Ryan told E! News about the studio sessions so far.
“We’re going to do a lot of it in L.A. But I’m going to try to get her out to Denver for a week. We’ll see if she’ll do that.”
Still in its early stages, it is hoped Leona Lewis will release the sequel to her debut ‘Spirit’ in November. First up however, is a biography in October that will include mostly photos.

Leona is set to record a cover of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You with superstar Justin Timberlake for her sophomore album. If any of you remember Leona’s jaw-dropping performance of this song back on The X Factor then you know how BRILLIANT this cover is going to be. I am super-excited for this collab!
Leona Lewis is set to team up with Justin Timberlake to record a cover of I Will Always Love You.
Reports say the X Factor winner is reportedly teaming up with J.T to duet the Dolly Parton song, which was a No.1 for Whitney Houston in 1992.
A source told the Sun : ‘They will record the track in the next few months and are just waiting for a period when they’re both free to go into the studio.’
Meanwhile, it was also revealed that Lewis is working with producer Timbaland on her second album.
The follow-up to 2007’s Spirit is due to be released in October.

Leona Lewisβs single Run has become the fastest-selling digital release ever after two days, her spokeswoman said today.
Leona first performed the cover of the Snow Patrol track late last year when she was invited to perform for Jo Whiley in Radio 1βs Live Lounge.
Run became available as a download only from midnight on Sunday and in its first two days of sales it sold 69,244 copies.
The record held for the biggest ever digital-only number one record was set by Estelle featuring Kanye West, which sold 51,857 units in a week, meaning Lewis now looks set to hit the top of the charts this Sunday.
Great news for Leona! Her brand new single Run has taken the #1 spot in Ireland - with Beyonce and Britney Spears falling into 2nd and 3rd place on the billboard charts.
Dublin, Ireland (CNS) - British pop/R&B singer and songwriter Leona Lewis is at the top of the Irish singles chart with her cover of Snow Patrol’s “Run” for a second week. Leona first performed “Run” on Jo Whiley’s Live Lounge last year.
Lewis performance proved so popular that it was included on Spirit - The Deluxe Edition, currently Number One on the charts. “Run” will be available on iTunes from this Sunday, 30th November, as will Spirit - the Deluxe Edition. Spirit - The Deluxe Edition will be available to download from all other digital stores as of 8th December.
It was originally intended that “Run” would only be available on the chart-topping re-issue of Leona’s super-successful album, Spirit.
