Leona recently spoke with MTV News about her new music video I Will Be and the leading guy in it – Chace Crawford. She also lets us know that she is a big fan of the show ‘Gossip Girl’. Read on to find out more.
In case you were wondering just why “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford ended up in the new Leona Lewis music video for “I Will Be” as the video’s resident eye candy, Grammy-nominee Lewis has revealed the big reason as to why she cast him in her video.
“I’m a big ‘Gossip Girl’ fan,” she told The Associated Press. “I love that show. I just love it. We get it back home [in England], but it’s like one season back, so it’s kind of hard to catch up, but I love it.”
And just why is the series the singer’s guilty pleasure? “I don’t know. I just love the fashion,” she said. “It’s fun and I think it’s a very cool series.”
The singer also talked a bit about the other British female contenders who have found themselves with Grammy nominations, as the British pop invasion has became decidedly saturated by pretty girls with big voices.
“They’re just so talented — Amy Winehouse, Adele, Duffy,” she said. “Just really talented singers and they’ve been given opportunities. If you have the right talent you can get to where you want to be.”
Here it finally is guys! The official music video for Leona’s new US single I Will Be. The video features actor Chace Crawford and in it – he plays Leona’s love interest. Leona plays a bank robber who sings the song for her lover.
The video was definentely well-worth the wait and its all I hoped it would be. I think this single and video will be HUGE worldwide! CHECK IT OUT BELOW!

The video was shot a couple of weeks ago in Cape Town, South Africa by director Jim Nava and Leona looks more beautiful and flawless than i’ve ever seen her before! The video is very emotional and it almost bought me to tears. What do you guys think about the video?
GMTV, a news show in The UK went behind the scenes with Leona on the set of her brand new music video Run which was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. The music video revolves around Leona being lost in the forest and trying to find her way out and I think the concept, the setting and everything is absolutley perfect! This is going to be my favorite music video of all time I can already tell! Leona looks spectacular and she worked very well with the director. This behind the scenes look really gives us a idea of what the full video will be like so I am really excited for its release. I have also added about 50 HQ captures to the gallery.

I’ve uploaded a few sets of photos to the photo gallery today. The first set is a brand new addition to the Spirit Deluxe Edition Promoshoot which is such a beautiful photo. The second set comes from Leona on the set of her new music video Run which should be out soon, and lastly the third set are 3 high quality photos of Leona performing on The X-Factor a few nights ago (thanks to the amazing Aidan for donating the photos.
We have been waiting for so long for the music video of Run and here is a 0:30 second preview of the video. Leona looks incredible – I think this will become my favorite Leona music video. What are YOUR thoughts?
Thank goodness for this! Leona’s Official Youtube Page has now allowed the Forgive Me music video to be viewable by United States viewers! However, you cannot embed the video. I’m sure that all of your e-mails and comments were a big help in that, so thanks to all of you for that.
I have added about 100 HQ captures of Leona’s brand new music video for Forgive Me which was released to The UK & France yesterday. Leona looks absolutley fantastic in the video – I really really love it! My favorite scene is the singing in the rain and the scene with America’s Best Dance Crew winners, The Jabawokeez. I will open up comments for this post. What do you guys who’ve seen it think of it?
I will not be adding the music video because apparentely Sony/BMG only wants it viewable in the UK and France. Hopefully, they will release it over here in The States very soon. Let’s keep sending them our emails!
WOW! Someone has found what seems to be the first look of Leona’s new music video for Forgive Me. The video was shot months ago in LA and until now, we have heard nor seen anything from it. Could this photo below be one of the first screen shots?
