Leona Lewis was featured on a BBC special in The UK called Queen’s Of British Pop, where they did special interviews, and back stories on the most successful British singers. Leona was one of the few to be honored on the show, which had special comments from celebs such as Alexandra Burke, Lulu, Simon Cowell, Ryan Tedder, etc.
This is such an awesome video which takes us on the long journey that Leona has had.

The very first winner of the Leona Lewis Youtube Contest has been chosen. They actually chose MY favorite as well, Laura Broad - who did a fantastic job on “Better In Time” won the first contest! The next entry is I Will Be so if you think you have what it takes - then enter!
Leona Lewis has certainly had a whirlwind year since making her big debut at last year’s Clive Davis pre-Grammy party and in the process has become a Grammy-nominated pop star. Her song “Bleeding Love” became an inescapable hit in 2008 and catapulted the singer to worldwide fame.
“Basically, we sat down and we went over all the material … there was something about [the song] and her digging deep and the edginess of it and the strength of it,” Davis explained about why they chose to record the song. “We all said, ‘This is the first single.’ We’ve had other hits coming from the album. This is a major album. This year has been so special. This is an appropriate time to celebrate that success.”
Now she’s up for three awards at Sunday’s Grammys, and she offered a big thank you to Davis. “To have Clive Davis debut me, it’s been so amazing,” Lewis told MTV News at the party’s rehearsals. “It was great and I think when he speaks, people listen, so to give me that opportunity is invaluable. And Clive is being celebrated [at the party]. I just can’t wait.”
But Lewis, about whom Davis said “music runs through her veins, her soul,” is not resting on her laurels. The Brit is already hard at work prepping for her next album, and she’s got some heavyweight talent onboard. “So I’ve just started to get in the studio. I’ve been in with Ryan [Tedders, who wrote 'Bleeding Love'],” she said, adding, “and [I've been in with] Justin Timberlake as well, which has been great.”

Leona was there rehearsing for her performance again this year at Clive’s annual Pre-Grammy Awards show and we all know that is the number one party to be at on Grammy night! Leona recently spoke with MTV News about her new music video I Will Be and the leading guy in it - Chace Crawford. She also lets us know that she is a big fan of the show ‘Gossip Girl’. Read on to find out more.
In case you were wondering just why “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford ended up in the new Leona Lewis music video for “I Will Be” as the video’s resident eye candy, Grammy-nominee Lewis has revealed the big reason as to why she cast him in her video.
“I’m a big ‘Gossip Girl’ fan,” she told The Associated Press. “I love that show. I just love it. We get it back home [in England], but it’s like one season back, so it’s kind of hard to catch up, but I love it.”
And just why is the series the singer’s guilty pleasure? “I don’t know. I just love the fashion,” she said. “It’s fun and I think it’s a very cool series.”
The singer also talked a bit about the other British female contenders who have found themselves with Grammy nominations, as the British pop invasion has became decidedly saturated by pretty girls with big voices.
“They’re just so talented β Amy Winehouse, Adele, Duffy,” she said. “Just really talented singers and they’ve been given opportunities. If you have the right talent you can get to where you want to be.”
Here is an unreleased track that didn’t make it on Leona’s debut album, Spirit. This song is called Stay and it features asinger named Bluey. I think this track is great - with a really nice groove and catchy hook. Check it out below and let us know what you think of it!
Here it finally is guys! The official music video for Leona’s new US single I Will Be. The video features actor Chace Crawford and in it - he plays Leona’s love interest. Leona plays a bank robber who sings the song for her lover.
The video was definentely well-worth the wait and its all I hoped it would be. I think this single and video will be HUGE worldwide! CHECK IT OUT BELOW!

Leona Lewis performed in KrakΓ³w, Poland last night for New Years Eve. Leona performed an amazing set of songs : Run, Bleeding Love, Forgive Me, I Will Be, Better In Time, and Whatever It Takes. Leona looked and sounded AMAZING on all of the songs!
WOW! Leona Lewis gave yet another jaw-dropping performance of Run live on the Top Of The Pops Christmas Special, which aired in The UK today. Leona left the whole entire audience in awe after her incredible performance and once you see it - you’ll know why. It was FLAWLESS! Thanks to my friend Adam for the video.
